It was almost unmarked. Almost. The only writing on the Ampex cassette was "Nasty Recalls 1972" in crayon. Red crayon. Hmm?

Mitch opened the package, so he got to hear it first. And then came the round of phone calls, leading to all four of us ... confused historians who are really just fans first ... sitting around analyzing what could only be described as "historic".
Was it real? Yes ... it seemed to be. Could we validate it. Yes. A few more phone calls were made and we had the word. It was, indeed, the "Holy Grail".
